Below are some Alliance2015 statistics. You can see how much and what kind of funding the members receive and how they spend these funds.
During 2009, Alliance members received a total of 531.9 million Euro. The majority of the funds came from the EU or other institutional sources. 'Donations in kind' refers to wheat or other types of grain for large emergency projects in the Darfur region of Sudan for example.
The large overall income of over half a billion Euro makes Alliance2015 quite a significant player in the European NGO scene.

The table below shows how the funding for each Alliance member is split up. Hivos and IBIS have begun to do private fundraising in recent years and are slowly building a base for this type of income. As stated above, 'In Kind' donations refer to grain or other food aid deliveries, mostly from the UN World Food Programme.

Expenditure per Continent in 2009
The next graph and table show how the various Alliance members distributed their funds according to continents during the year 2009. Projects expenditure amounted to roughly 449 million Euro.

Expenditure Towards the Millennium Development Goals
If one looks at the spending towards the Millennium Development Goals, the overview below shows that in 2009, Alliance members spent almost 70% of their funding on MDG-related projects and activities.
