Ayuda en Acción, Cesvi, Helvetas, Hivos and Welthungerhilfe launched on 4th November the Global Hunger Index in Peru, together with a country focused report. The debate was around hunger and poverty in a post COVID-19 phase.
During the coffee break of the virtual event, a very special package was delivered to the participants via bicycle courier, filled with delicious, rescued foods from local restaurants that would otherwise have been discarded. The catering was prepared by Come con Causa, a social restaurant funded by Cesvi and Tejiendo Sonrisas – Perú.
