More than two months after the start of the Ukraine conflict, millions of Ukrainians have been forced to leave their cities and villages and move further in western Ukraine or across the border to Poland, Moldova, Romania or Hungary; others have had to stay home and are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
Alliance2015 members are still working hard to assist people who have escaped violence, or those who have suffered from it.
Thanks to Alliance2015 members on the ground, we have delivered food, water, and hygiene supplies to the areas where the Russian army has withdrawn: Bucha, Irpin, and Chernihiv.
In western Ukraine, where the violence has not arrived, cash assistance will be given to 18.900 displaced Ukrainians who have no means to buy necessities.
Endangered population has been from conflict areas like Mariupol to western Ukraine and psychological support is being offered. Another 27.000 hot meals have been distributed in Lviv, Kharkiv, Vulhedar, Dobropilliya and Svyatohirsk, together with necessities (hygiene products, dry food, water, blankets).
